This CD contains information dating from the late 1600's to the early 1900's from four
upstate New York quarterlies. Produced by Kinship during the period 1984-1998, the
newly updated CD references approximately 450,000 individuals from the Hudson and Mohawk
Valley counties of Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Montgomery, Renssealer, Saratoga and
Schenectady.
You will find the full name of the individual with the Chapter title in which the name
appeared which usually indicates the type of record and often gives the time period.
Each entry will give the Publication name, the volume number and the page on which
the information is found.
Records published in these quarterlies are from many sources such as Bible records,
church records, tax lists, etc. and provide genealogical information which may not be
available elsewhere. The CD provides a valuable way of finding additional
information.
